Find out which countries are more willing to issue multiple Schengen visas for a year, two or even five years! What are the rules for registration in 2021? How to apply for a visa yourself?

Multishengen is the dream of many! Still, it’s still a pleasure to collect documents, fill out questionnaires, go to visa centers and worry. To save your nerves and time and become the proud owner of a multiple-entry visa to Schengen Europe, you need to choose the right country. Some are greedy and give visas only for travel dates, while others willingly indulge in long cartoons. Let's find out who is better to go to for a visa!

I have grouped countries into three categories based on how often they provide multiple entry visas. The rating is based on statistics from Vinsky's forum: people took a survey after receiving a visa and shared the results.

What is a Schengen multivisa? This is a visa that gives the right to enter the Schengen countries an unlimited number of times within the validity period of the multivisa. The term can be different: six months, a year, two, etc. As long as your multivisa has not expired, you can visit the Schengen countries, as well as some others: Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia.

Gods multivisa

These countries generously distribute Schengen multivisa immediately for a long period (from 2 to 5 years):

France

This is the number 1 country for those who dream of a long-term visa! The chances of getting a Schengen visa only for travel dates are only 1 in 50. And the probability of getting a multivisa for 3-5 years is almost 50%!

Perhaps all Russians already know about the generosity of the Greeks. Greece is good at giving multiple entry visas for 1-3 years at once.

Spain

The Spaniards are greedy to give a multivisa for 3-5 years at once, but for a year or two they distribute right and left - 91%. Cases of issuing visas for dates are extremely rare.

My Schengens

My experience of obtaining Schengen visas since 2010 in order:

  1. Italy - under the dates.
  2. Lithuania - under the dates.
  3. Netherlands - multivisa for half a year.
  4. Czech Republic - on dates for a monthly trip all over Europe (misers!).
  5. Spain - multivisa for a year (my already great love for Spain has grown).
  6. France - multivisa for a year (I expected more).

Tips: how to get a Schengen multivisa

Try to plan your trip so that the main country of your stay is country from the list of loyal... It is especially easy to get a multiple entry visa to Greece, France, Spain, Finland, Belgium, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands.

But remember: you must apply for a visa from the country where you intend to spend the most days. The country of the first entry does not matter. This is a myth with only one exception: you need to apply for a visa of the country of first entry when you cannot determine the main country of destination (for example, you plan to spend one night in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia).

Try to provide the consulate statements from your bank account with a large balance... The more money you have, the higher the chances of getting a Schengen multivisa. References from work are desirable, but not required - practice shows that their presence or absence does not matter.

Apply for visas yourself! Travel agencies, intermediaries, do not care what kind of visa you get, they just need to work out your money. This is the most pointless waste of money you can imagine: they do not give any guarantees, and they can only worsen your chances of getting a multivisa. Collect the required package of documents and submit them to the visa center of your city on your own.

To obtain a visa, you will definitely need insurance... I advise you to choose and buy a policy on Cherekhap - they compare insurance conditions and help you choose the best policy.

Banal but important tips:

Fill out the questionnaire carefully and accurately.

Don't paint yourself tickets and hotel reservations in Photoshop.

Do not violate the rules of stay of the countries you are visiting.

Do not do this: you received a visa from a certain country on fake or canceled reservations, and went to another. Payback will come the next time you apply for a new visa, and at the border they may ask about your route.
