Monument to Archangel Michael

The sculptures of Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill were transported to Sochi and installed on the territory of the Krasmashevsky sanatorium in 2008. The Museum of History is open nearby. Monument to V.I.Lenin

With the help of this monument, the sculptor I. Gusleva in the 60s of the last century tried to create the "face" of the balneological resort known throughout the country. Local light sandstone was used as material. The image of a mountainous girl is as if carved out of a rock by nature itself, although it is man-made. Since 2016, the composition has been included in the register of cultural heritage sites of the region.

Monument to Mikhail Lazarev

The bust of the famous general was installed near the railway station in the Lazarevsky district in 1954. Its author is the sculptor I. Shmagun. Lazarev's biography includes travel around the world, the discovery of Antarctica, participation in battles on the Azov ship and the command of the Black Sea Fleet. "Neptune"

The monument was erected in 2006 near the "Primorsky" beach on the Central city embankment. The height of "Neptune" is about 3 meters. "Sochi teacher"

The monument was opened in 2008 and dedicated to Maria Bykova. This teacher opened the first school in Sochi with her own money. The building itself has not survived. "Fly Tsokotukha"

Inaugurated in 2011. The monument consists of two parts. The first is a cut pumpkin, the second is a disproportionately large piece of it, which has become a bench. A. Butaev and V. Zvonov were responsible for the project. The author of the very sculpture of a fly sitting on the edge of the bench was A. Khalafyan. According to the plot of the poem, a fly holds a coin in its paws. The location of the monument makes it a good place for photo sessions.

"Anchor and Cannon"

The sculptural composition appeared on the streets of Sochi in 1913. It consists of two elements. The ship's cannon was cast at the Alexandrovsky plant from cast iron. The anchor was made at the Votkinsk plant and used on the corvette until it sank. The monument is dedicated to both the foundation of Sochi and the military victories of the state. This is written on a plate attached to one side of the pedestal.

"The Golden Fleece"

The monument was erected on the Arts Square in 2008. The composition consists of a golden skin of a ram and a dragon that protects it, stretched between small arches. Their Thumbelina is a sculpture with delicate features. A snow-white girl with small wings sits on "asleep" flowers, the petals of which are bent down. The parameters of the constituent parts of the monument remind that in the fairy tale Thumbelina was miniature.

Monument to Alexander Bestuzhev-Marlinsky

It has been located in the park of the same name since 1957. The reason for the opening of the monument is the 120th anniversary of the death of the writer. Bestuzhev-Marlinsky for his participation in the Decembrist movement was exiled to the Caucasus in the rank of private. Here he created his main works. A bronze bas-relief of a literary man protrudes from a stone block, and a commemorative plaque is placed below. The sculptor was S. Tretyakov.

Monument to Maxim Gorky

Installed on the street named after the writer in 1950. Gorky repeatedly visited the Krasnodar Territory, rested, participated in the construction of a local highway, and also arranged long hikes. Here, notes were made for future works, and inspiration was drawn. The monument was created according to the sketches of A. Kolobov from concrete reinforced with reinforcement. Monument to Yuri Gagarin

"Adam and Eve"

The object of monumental art was created by the famous sculptor Z. Tsereteli. The monument was erected in the Sochi Arboretum in the 1970s. Nearby there is a picturesque small pond and gazebos. From them, "Adam and Eve" is perfectly visible, as well as waterfowl and a planting of bamboo. The monument is unusual, the features of the heroes of the biblical legend are devoid of subtlety.
