In Bodrum and Marmaris - on the Aegean Sea or something between the Mediterranean and the Aegean, like in Fethiye - it is better to come in the second half - at the end of May:
Bodrum
In May Bodrum you will not find the suffocating + 40 ° С. The highest temperature is + 28 ° С. The mild climate, active sun during the day, evening is the time for light sweaters. Only the sea is still cold, the water temperature is + 21.8 ° C on average.
Marmaris
May in Marmaris is mild, thanks to the highlands and forests. During the day + 27 ° С ... + 30 ° С, at night not lower than + 18 ° С. The heat is not felt due to the light breeze, but the exposed skin will burn for sure. If it rains, it will be warm and not for long.
